(infowars.com/Paul Joseph Watson) - Minneapolis records clerk Melissa Hill tells the Star-Tribune that she fears people are being conditioned “to accept a police state” as military exercises in the city involving Black Hawk helicopters based around “confrontation scenarios” continue to stir intrigue and concern.

Asked about the exercises which have been ongoing all week in downtown Minneapolis, Hill responded, “To me it’s really frightening. Military copters flying around in our airspace in an urban setting — it kind of conditions people to accept a police state.”

Code Pink Attempts Citizen's Arrest Of Condoleezza Rice For War Crimes

About a dozen members of the radical feminist group Code Pink took a break from dressing up as female body parts to attempt a citizen's arrest of former Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rice at an event connected with the RNC convention in Tampa, Politico reported Tuesday.

Protesters carried handcuffs and said they wanted to arrest Rice for "war crimes."

Rice was Bush's National Security Adviser when the Iraq War started in 2003.

"Officers told protesters to leave because they were on private property. They went back to the sidewalk and several lay down under sheets made to look like they were blood-splattered," Politico added.

"Arrest the war criminal Condi Rice," the group tweeted.

Protesters, chanting “Arrest Condi Rice," held signs calling Rice a "war criminal," and blocked an entrance to the building Rice was in.

The group also said in a tweet that co-founder Medea Benjamin asked the police to arrest Rice.

"After today’s Code Pink vagina-capades, the bloody-sheet imagery really doesn’t sit well. Please pass the mind bleach," Twitchy added.

According to Politico, the group said that it will "try to arrest other members of the George W. Bush administration." They also claimed they would hold members of the Obama administration accountable during the Democratic convention.

Haifa, Israel (CNN) – Nine years after an American activist was crushed by an Israeli army bulldozer, an Israeli civil court ruled Tuesday that Rachel Corrie’s death was an accident.

Corrie, 23, was killed in 2003 while trying to block the bulldozer from razing Palestinian homes.

Her parents filed suit against Israel’s Ministry of Defense in a quest for accountability and sought just $1 in damages. But Judge Oded Gershon ruled Tuesday that the family has no right to damages, backing an earlier Israeli investigation that cleared any soldier of wrongdoing.

Jesus was a 'Judean', not a Jew.

"Judaism" today and "Pharisaism" in the time of Jesus are the same.

Jesus abhorred and denounced "Pharisaism"; hence the words, "Woe unto you Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites, Ye Serpents, Ye Generation of Vipers".

What Is The Cause Of All The Anti-Semitism In The World?

Why does the world hate the Jews? Why is anti-Semitism so rampant in so many different countries? What is so bad about the Jews? History has shown that at various time over the last 1,700 years the Jews have been expelled from over 80 different countries. Historians and experts have concluded there are at least six different reasons:

• Racial Theory – the Jews are hated because they are an inferior race.
• Economic Theory – the Jews are hated because they possess too much wealth and power.
• Outsiders Theory – the Jews are hated because they are different from everyone else.
• Scapegoat Theory – the Jews are hated because they are the cause for all the world’s problems.
• Deicide Theory – the Jews are hated because they killed our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
• Chosen People Theory – the Jews are hated because they arrogantly declare they are the “chosen ones of G-d.”

Though these six reasons have been determined to be the major causes of hatred of the Jews throughout the world and history, is there really any substance to them?

• With respect to the racial theory, the truth is that the Jews are not a race that they pretend to be. Anyone in the world of any colour, creed or race can become a Jew.

• The economic theory citing that the Jews are wealthy doesn’t hold much weight. History has shown that during the 17th through the 20th centuries, especially in Poland and Russia, the Jews were desperately poor and had very little, if any, influence in business or political systems.

• As for the outsiders’ theory, during the 18th century, the Jews desperately tried to assimilate with the rest of Europe. As outsiders or foreigners, they had hoped that the anti-Semitism would disappear. However, they were hated even more by those who claimed the Jews would infect their race with inferior genes. This was especially true in Germany prior to World War II.

• As to the scapegoat theory, the fact of the matter is that regardless of what group is hated, they will be considered a scapegoat for all the world’s evils and ills. The point is that the Jews have always been hated, which makes them a very convenient target.

• As to deicide, the Bible makes it clear that the Romans were the ones who actually killed Jesus, though the  Pharacies (Jews) acted as accomplices. It wasn’t until a few hundred years later that the Jews were cited as the murderers of Christ. One wonders why the Romans are not the ones hated. Jesus Himself forgave the Jews (Luke 23:34). Even the Vatican (Holy See) absolved the Jews of His death in 1963. Nevertheless, neither statement has diminished anti-Semitism.

• As for their claim to being the “chosen people of God,” the Jews in Germany rejected their “chosen-ness” status during the later part of the 19th century in order to be assimilated into the German culture. Nevertheless, they suffered the "Holocaust" (Persecution/Genocide). Today, some Christians and Muslims claim to be the “chosen people” of G-d, yet for the most part, the world tolerates them and still hates the Jews go figure.

So, this brings us to the real reason by the world hates the Jews. The Apostle Paul tells us: “For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, those of my own race, the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is G-d over all, forever praised!” (Romans 9:3-5). The truth is that the world hates the Jews because the world hates G-d. The Jews were G-d’s firstborn, His chosen people (Deuteronomy 14:2). Through the Jewish patriarchs, the prophets, and the temple, G-d used the Jews to bring forth His Word, the Law, and morality to a world of sin. He sent forth His only begotten son, Jesus the Christ, in a body to redeem the world of sin. Satan, the prince of the earth (John 14:30; Ephesians 2:2) has permeated the minds of man with his hated of the Jews, G-d’s chosen people, because it is through this royal bloodline that His Son, Jesus Christ came and will return again.

Satan tried through the Babylonians, the Persians, the Assyrians, the Egyptians, the Hittites, and the Nazis in an attempt to wipe out the Jews. But he’s failed time and time again. G-d is not finished with Israel. Romans 11:26 tells us that someday all Israel will be saved, and this cannot come to pass if Israel no longer exists. Therefore, G-d will preserve the Jews for the future, just as He has preserved their remnant throughout history, until His final plan comes to pass. Nothing can thwart G-d’s plan for Israel and the Jewish people.

Down Goes Britain: The UK Economy Tumbles Deep Into Recession.

America's Future Doesn't Look As Bright As Britian's, But Who Am I To Judge?

(endoftheamericandream.com) - The economic crisis that is sweeping Europe is starting to hit Britain really hard. Over the last couple of years economists have been warning that we can't let the "contagion" spread from troubled nations such as Greece and Portugal to the rest of Europe. Well, it is too late for that now. Spain and Italy are coming apart at the seams at this point, and even "stronger" nations such as the UK and France appear to be deeply troubled. According to numbers that were released just this week, the UK economy has now contracted for three quarters in a row. During the second quarter of 2012, the UK economy shrunk by 0.7 percent. That was a much larger contraction than the 0.2 percent contraction that economists were forecasting. At this point we have got a definite trend going. During the fourth quarter of 2011, the UK economy shrunk by 0.4 percent. During the first quarter of 2012, the UK economy shrunk by 0.3 percent. And now in this latest quarter the contraction of the UK economy appears to be accelerating. This economic downturn in the UK is being called "the longest double-dip recession for more than 50 years". So will Britain soon look like Greece and Spain and Italy or will it be able to pull out of this nosedive in time.

The UK construction sector was hit particularly hard during the second quarter. It contracted by 5.2 percent, which was the biggest decline since the first quarter of 2009. Consumer confidence has reached a historic low in Britain and economic gloom is seemingly everywhere.

So what does the future hold for Britain?

Unfortunately, things do not look promising at all right now.

At this point, the budget deficit of the UK government is still about 8 percent of GDP, and British politicians are promising to reduce that significantly.

That means that more austerity measures are coming for Britain and less government money will be flowing into the economy.

So the economic slowdown is very likely to get even worse.

But of course we have been seeing the same kind of thing happening all over Europe.

Economists are warning once again that Greece is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy.

On Tuesday, the Telegraph ran a story with the following startling headline: "Debt crisis: Greece to run out of money by August 20".

Haven't we heard this before?

Yes, we have.

And every time, European leaders have gotten together and "fixed" the problem.

But of course they didn't really fix anything. They just kicked the can down the road a little while and things just kept getting worse.

At this point the Greek economy has been in a depression for several years. In fact, the Prime Minister of Greece is now even openly using the word "depression" to describe the state of the Greek economy.

So just how bad are things in Greece right now?

It is being projected that the Greek economy will contract by a total of 7 percent during 2012.

Ouch.

But Greece is not alone.

Other southern European nations are on the exact same path that Greece is on.

For example, Italy is rapidly becoming a gigantic mess as well. The national government is drowning in debt, the economy is in recession and today came a warning that 10 major Italian cities are on the verge of bankruptcy....

The cities at risk of running out of money include Naples, Palermo in Sicily and Reggio Calabria, on the toe of the Italian boot, according to the Italian press.

"The situation is becoming worse by the day," said Graziano Del Rio, the president of a national association of municipal councils.

The warning came just days after Mario Monti, the prime minister, expressed fears that Sicily, which has a high degree of fiscal autonomy, was on the brink of a default.

But the country making the biggest headlines this week has been Spain. Spanish bond yields have been soaring, the Spanish stock markethas been crashing, the Spanish banking system is on the verge of collapse and now regional governments all over Spain are coming forward and asking for bailouts.

As the national government attempts to impose even more austerity measures on the Spanish people, violent protests are erupting all over the country.

So why is all of this happening?

Well, the truth is that this is not a liquidity crisis. If it was, the central banks could flood the system with money and solve the problem.

No, what Europe is facing is an insolvency crisis. There is way, way too much debt in the system and it is inevitable that an "adjustment" is going to happen.

A recent Marketwatch article detailed how the global debt bubble has continued to grow even in the midst of the economic problems of the past few years....


Balance sheets of major central banks have increased to $18 trillion from around $6 trillion, reflecting an unprecedented 30% of global gross domestic product.

Mr. Economy is now addicted to monetary heroin. Increasing doses are necessary for the patient to function at all.

Mr. Economy has not made the changes necessary for a return to full health. He seems to have taken rock star Steven Tyler’s advice: “Fake it until you make it.”

Borrowing levels remain unsustainable. Debt levels for 11 major nations have increased to 417% of GDP in 2012 from 381% of GDP in 2007. Debt has increased in Canada, Germany, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Spain, Portugal, the U.K. and the U.S.

These debt levels are not sustainable.

A collapse is going to happen.

Hopefully the collapse will be at least somewhat orderly, but there is also a good chance that it could be completely chaotic.

Some that have analyzed the situation are very pessimistic at this point. For example, the following is from a recent article by Graham Summers....


In simple terms, today we are facing a Crisis that is far, far worse than 2008. Before it ends, it is quite possible that we will see the entire Western Financial System collapse and a new system put into place.

This will mean:
Many major banks disappearing, as well as numerous potentially lengthy bank holidays (think Argentina in 2001)

Multiple sovereign defaults as well as broad economic contractions and their commensurate unemployment/ civil unrest/ erasure of retirement accounts/ pensions (this process has already begun in some US municipals, e.g. San Bernandino and Stockton California as well as Harrisburg Pennsylvania).

Possibly new currencies being introduced or new denominations of currencies (say one new unit being worth 1,000 of the old one)

Massive wealth destruction to the tune of tens of trillions of Dollars (think MF Global i.e. the money is gone… only systemically… in fact we just had another such instance with PF)

A global contraction that will result in new political/ power structures being implemented as well as the breakup of various countries/ unions.

Very serious trade wars to begin (see Obama’s recent attack on China) and very possibly a real war.

Many Americans do not pay much attention to what is going on over in Europe because they do not believe that it will affect them much.

But the truth is that Europe has a bigger population than we do, a bigger economy than we do, and a much bigger banking system than we do.

The global financial system is more interconnected than ever, and what goes on over in Europe is going to have a dramatic impact on the United States.

In fact, already there are a whole host of signs that the U.S. economy is starting to tip into another recession.

So let us definitely hope for the best, but let us also get prepared for the worst.

A great storm is on the horizon, and it would be quite foolish to ignore it.

(rollcall.com) — House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa plans to sue Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday for refusing to provide documents related to the “Fast and Furious” gun-smuggling operation.

“The committee expects to file the civil contempt suit against the attorney general Monday,” a Republican source said. The suit will be filed in the federal district court for the District of Columbia.

The action is the latest escalation in the dispute between House Republicans and the Justice Department over the documents, which relate to a botched gun-smuggling operation.

(SunNewsNetwork.ca) - Pop singer Justin Bieber has perpetuated the "misconception" that Natives in Canada "are somehow getting a free ride," by claiming he can get free gas because he's part Native, Canada's Congress of Aboriginal Peoples says.

"I'm actually part Indian. I think Inuit or something? I'm enough percent that in Canada I can get free gas," the Stratford, Ontario native told Rolling Stone in an interview that appears in the magazine's August edition.

The comment sparked outrage in Native communities and on Thursday, National Chief of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples Betty Ann Lavallee and vice-chief Dwight Dorey issued a joint statement calling the teen sensation's comments "simply not true."

"These kinds of remarks are another example of what Aboriginal Peoples in Canada struggle with every day. It promotes the misconception that we are somehow getting a free ride. This simply is not the case and we are concerned that many people may believe what he said," the statement says.

In Ontario, the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs notes First Nations people who have a gas card don't have to pay a tax of 14.7 cents per litre on gasoline - but it's not free.

Dorey said Bieber is "still a young man" and "unaware of the facts."
