4 People Who Tried To Eat McDonald's & Went Insane

(cracked) - You don't go to McDonald's looking for perfection. You go there for a burger that costs less and tastes worse than the cumulative change in your car. By the time you're pulling into the McDonald's drive-thru, you've already lost the battle with your dignity and taste buds.

In other religious news: Texas college student allowed to wear pasta strainer in driver's license photo.

You can't make this sh*t up..

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
After months of research and countless calls to state and local authorities, Eddie Castillo finally got approval to wear a pasta strainer on his head in his driver's license photo.

It sounds like a joke, but it's actually a political statement from a group of atheists who "worship" the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The group members, who call themselves "pastafarians," were inspired by a satirical letter written in 2005 to protest the Kansas School Board teaching intelligent design. Castillo, a Texas Tech student, is the first person in the country allowed to wear this kind of religious headgear in a legal identification photo.

A New Jersey man who tried it in February 2013 was denied. An Austrian man was allowed to wear the pasta strainer in an official photo in 2008, but was required to undergo a medical interview to check his "mental fitness to drive."

"You might think this is some sort of a gag or prank by a college student, but thousands, including myself, see it as a political and religious milestone for all atheists everywhere," Castillo said.
Castillo's church is using humor to bring attention to some very serious issues, namely, how different levels of government interpret the separation of church and state.

Castillo says he's trying to make a point about acceptance and expose people to a different outlook.

Russian lawmaker proposes banning gays from donating blood.

Seriously will the 'hate' ever end?

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian lawmaker has said parliament should ban blood donations from homosexuals, news agencies reported on Monday, upsetting activists already angry at a nationwide ban on gay 'propaganda'.

"We will suggest an amendment to the law on (blood) donations on the order of the Health Ministry that returns homosexuals to the list of contra-indicated donors," Interfax quoted parliamentarian and Moscow mayoral candidate Mikhail Dyegtyaryov as saying.

A law passed in June that prohibits spreading "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations" has sparked criticism from Western governments and led to calls for a boycott of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia, next February.

The measure, popular with many Russians and with the powerful Orthodox Church, highlighted the more socially conservative course that President Vladimir Putin has charted in his third term. Putin draws strong support from conservative rural parts of Russia, while protests against his 13-year rule have mostly been confined to big cities.

Patent confirms that aspertame (artificial sweetener) is the excrement of GM bacteria.

(naturalnews) - The Independent published an article entitled "World's top sweetener is made with GM bacteria," which revealed that Monsanto was knowingly adding aspartame to soft drinks in the United States - and that aspartame is made from GM bacteria. This report, which remains one of the earliest disclosures on aspartame in a mainstream newspaper, received little attention after its publication - possibly because its implications were underestimated at the time - and it has long been forgotten.

Since 1999, the world has become a little more attentive to Monsanto and aspartame, but ignorance still abounds about the latter's genesis.

While more and more people are starting to awaken to aspartame's destructive effects on our health, do they know how it is actually made? Fortunately, a 1981 patent for aspartame production, once confined to the drawers of patent offices, is now available online for everyone to see - and it confirms everything that Monsanto was happy to tell us in 1999 before their meteoric growth necessitated greater prudence.

70 year old Australian man 'lodges fork in penis'

Doctors in Australia have removed a dining fork that became stuck inside a 70-year-old man's penis after a bizarre sexual accident.

(Telegraph) - In a case considered so unusual it was written up in a medical journal by the three operating doctors, the man inserted a four-inch steel fork into his urethra in an attempt to achieve sexual gratification.
But the fork became stuck and was not visible when the man presented to doctors hours later.
The doctors could feel the utensil and observed it on X-rays. They then extracted the fork free using forceps and "copious lubrication" while the patient was under a general anaesthetic.
The case was written up in the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports two weeks ago in a paper titled "An Unusual Urethral Foreign Body".
The doctors said they wrote up the case "given the great management challenge faced by the oddity and infrequency with which a fork is encountered in the penile urethra".

11 Miraculous Things Vadimir Putin Has Done

- Power and propaganda are closely intertwined, as any historian will tell you. World leaders throughout time have tried to portray themselves as dominant and cultured—but the shrewd glare of the modern media world has often dulled recent propaganda campaigns.
Not so in Vladimir Putin’s Russia. The country’s leader has almost single-handedly plowed his own furrow, portraying himself in a positive fashion and often receiving adulation from his subjects. The likelihood is that many of these events are staged—or otherwise, he’s some sort of superhuman.

Gibraltar: Spain considers joint diplomatic offensive with Argentina over Falkland Islands

(Telegraph) - Spain is considering forging an anti-British alliance with Argentina, adopting its strategy over the Falklands Islands, as the diplomatic row over Gibraltar intensifies.

Spanish foreign minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo will use a trip to Buenos Aires next month to raise the possibility of forging a joint diplomatic offensive with the South American country over the disputed territories, sources told Spain's El Pais newspaper.
Spain's foreign ministry was also discussing whether to take its complaints over Gibraltar to the United Nations, the newspaper reported on Sunday.
The sources did not specify whether Spain would ask the UN to back a request for Britain to give up sovereignty or just adhere to certain agreements.

Androgyny Is the New Black

(moonbattery) - According to the propaganda rammed down our throats by cultural Marxists, homosexuals are the new oppressed blacks. So it should come as no surprise that according to the fashion world, androgyny is the new black:
[A]s the Spring ’14 menswear shows kicked off in London, one trend sounded with all the subtlety of an air horn: androgyny is the new black. The most forceful expression of this theme came from up-and-coming brand JW Anderson. The five-year-old label comprises collections for men and women, and designer Jonathan Anderson likes to overlap the look of the two. Last season, for instance, Anderson showed pairs of ruffled shorts for men much like the ones in his Spring ’13 womenswear collection. And this time, Anderson’s dominant silhouette was a lean tunic paired with fluid, elongated trousers, another shape he’d begun to articulate in his previous womenswear show. But the look that got eyebrows arching and tongues wagging was Anderson’s male halter top: backless, semi-sheer and floral patterned, the look was unavoidably effeminate.
Other designers presented items such as “pale pink organza board shorts,” “a fitted suit of white lace,” and “lace-frilled running shorts.”

What do the dress-up games of the useless fashion industry have to do with regular guys who would almost rather vote for a Democrat than be caught dead in their absurd contrivances? If you are as patient as the incrementalist social engineers who occupy all the strategic hills in Western culture, you will find out — when this nauseating crap trickles down to the local department store.
[Menswear designer] Charlie Casely-Hayford agrees that, in time, his customer will fully come round. “We want to challenge our customer, but we don’t want to freak him out,” he says. “So every season, I’m asking myself – can we do a skirt? Will he understand? We’re almost there,” he adds. “But, you know, not quite yet.”
As with all things liberal, the heat is turned up slowly, so that the frog doesn’t jump out of the pot.
Before long the frog will be floating belly up in boiling water, and we will find ourselves completely surrounded by a culture that turns our stomachs.

Tennessee: Chick-Fil-A apologizes to mom who was making people uncomfortable by breast feading in public

What if this was a man who was breast feeding in public?

wibr.com - An East Tennessee mom is on a mission, driven by her right to breast feed in public.
Last weekend at the Turkey Creek Chick-Fil-A, Jennifer Day was breastfeeding her daughter, Kahlyn, in the play area at the Turkey Creek Chick-Fil-A. She was not using a cover.
When other customers complained, an employee approached her to express those concerns.
"An employee came up to me and told me some of the other parents were afraid of allowing their kids to play in the play area while I was feeding her, especially without any cover," Day said.

On Tuesday, a Chik Fil A spokesperson said the manager at that restaurant "...has apologized and regrets any offense he may have caused."

Islam is way more English than EDL

Dear EDL, THIS is why nobody likes you..

- Which brings me to the more contentious bit of the EDL's identity: its claim to represent "the English". The problem with this claim is that a hundred people will come up with a hundred ways of defining Englishness, and each with disagree violently with the other. To quote George Bernard Shaw: "It is impossible for an Englishman to open his mouth without making some other Englishman hate or despise him." This is a good thing by the way. Nations that are solidly cohesive can turn exclusivist and nasty; there's something of the Vichy about France's recent treatment of its Muslims and Roma.

Pro public schools Matt Damon Refuses to Enroll Kids in Los Angeles Public Schools.

Hypocrite much?

- Actor Matt Damon is a strong supporter of America's public schools. Just two years ago, the star spoke passionately about the importance of public schools at a Washington DC "Save our Schools" rally. In fact, the actor is so impressed with public school teachers that he has demanded they receive a pay raise. That passion and conviction, however, does not apply to Damon's own children, who will not be enrolled into the Los Angeles public school system.

Virginia church vadalized with "Hail Satan" & other satanic symbols

JOOOOOOOOOSSSS

(WSET-TV) — DANVILLE, Va. – Members of a historic church in Danville say they’re shocked after someone vandalized their building over the weekend.

A member of Schoolfield Church of the Brethren noticed the vandalism Saturday.

The church has been operating for over 100 years and is a historic part of the Schoolfield community.

“Yesterday morning, I had come over to do some yard work here at the church to prepare for today and it was quite shocking to go around the back of the church and see the destruction that had been done,” said church member Rhiannon Pattison.

The vandalism includes three symbols and a phrase written in Latin, which translates to “Hail Satan.”

Occupied Territories: What About Cyprus, Kashmir, Tibet

AmericanInfidels - But what about Cyprus? After all, there are many countries in the world with border disputes. There is at least one major one on China’s borders [Tibet]. And there is the rather famous one which borders Pakistan [Kashmir]. Border disputes are hardly unusual. Similar stories abound all over the world, such as the unresolved dispute involving Morocco over the status of the Western Sahara. Yet all these countries are ones with which the EU has full, if not fawning, diplomatic and trade relations.
